Wilson Technologies warns dealer before Michigan Automobile Dealers Association fax is issued.

Southfield, Michigan, November 2003 |   Avis Ford in Southfield, Michigan was a satisfied user of the Wilson Technologies identity authentication, fraud prevention, and customer relationship management system. This satisfaction increased dramatically in November when a customer asked to test drive a conversion van. When the salesperson ran his license through the Wilson Technologies system it revealed a fraud warning. The sales manager asked for registration papers from the vehicle that the customer drove to the store before allowing him to take an unaccompanied test drive. The customer walked to his vehicle and never returned. The next day a fraud warning fax from the Michigan Automobile Dealers Association arrived at the dealership naming the conversion van customer and advising dealers to be on their guard.

Wilson Technologies was able to protect Avis Ford from the almost certain loss of an expensive conversion van and, perhaps more importantly, protected the sales person from potential harm.
