Wilson Technologies Announces Red Flags Compliance for Dealers

Detroit, Michigan, November 25, 2007 — John Parent, President of Wilson Technologies, announced today that all current auto dealers using the Wilson Technologies solution are indeed compliant with the new “Identity Theft Red Flags and Notices of Address Discrepancy”, or Red Flag Rules. Compliance is federally mandated by January 1st, 2008.

According to Parent, “Wilson Technologies has always promoted Identity Theft prevention and is the oldest known solution to have prevented Identity Theft in the automotive industry (May, 2003)”. Dealers are now faced with a federal mandate to do exactly what we have done for our dealers for years. Training, support, written procedures, and Identity Theft prevention has been the core of our entire solution. We incorporate compliance in all our integrated products – CRM, F&I Menu, Payment Calculator, RouteOne application, and Credit Bureau pulls.

“Dealers can become instantly compliant with Red Flags, speed up their sales process for the customer, and sell more cars. We guarantee it.”

David Fischer Jr., General Manager of The Suburban Collection, concurred, “Wilson Technologies has been a core strategic partner for The Suburban Collection to curb identity theft for our 45 franchises since 2003. They have worked with our variable managers to customize compliance solutions that work within and even enhance our workflow. Their identity authentication system has satisfied the new Red Flags Rule requirements for several years. If there was a better and more cost-effective compliance tool on the market, we would be using it”. The Suburban Collection is consistently noted as being in the top fifteen largest dealership groups in the nation.

WT’s SRR Logic TM is a web-based software solution that protects a dealer from ID Theft, State, and Federal penalties, as well as providing dealerships with a complete suite of Inventory, Finance, CRM and Management utilities. Wilson Technologies will be presenting SRR software solutions and Red Flags Rule Compliance at their booth at the NADA Convention in San Francisco, in early February 2008.
